Privacy Policy
Last updated
This Privacy Policy explains how Inferio (“Inferio”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information about visitors to inferio.xyz and users of the Inferio Pay platform (the “Service”). For information about how we use cookies and similar technologies, see our Cookie Policy.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When a merchant signs up, we collect a business name, email address, password, and (where required for compliance) verification information such as business registration details.
Contact enquiries
When you submit the contact form we collect the name, work email, company name, storefront URL, estimated monthly volume, and the message you provide. We use this only to respond to your enquiry.
Transaction metadata
We process on-chain transaction identifiers, deposit addresses, token symbols, and amounts as part of providing the Service. We do not collect end-buyer wallet private keys.
Technical data
Our servers receive standard log information (IP address, user agent, referrer, request time) for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service.
- To respond to contact enquiries and support requests.
- To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, or violations of our Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy.
- To comply with applicable laws and lawful requests.
3. Legal bases (EEA / UK)
Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests, legal obligation, or your consent — whichever is appropriate to the processing activity.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers acting on our behalf (e.g. infrastructure, content management, analytics). Each provider is contractually bound to confidentiality and security obligations.
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety.
- Successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to the protections of this policy.
5. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as needed to deliver the Service, meet legal obligations, and resolve disputes. Transaction records and AML/KYC documentation may be retained for the period required by financial-services regulations in the relevant jurisdiction.
6. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction you may have the right to access, correct, port, restrict, or delete your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact [email protected].
7. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS in transit, encryption at rest, role-based access control, and continuous logging. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you to also use strong passwords and 2FA on your account.
8. International transfers
Our infrastructure may process data outside your home country. Where required we put in place standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
10. Changes
We will post material changes here and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact
